DESCRIPTION:Safety Town provides instruction to pre-school children who will begin kindergarten in the fall of 2018. The program includes pedestrian safety\, traffic signals and signs\, fire safety\, good and bad touch\, getting in cars with strangers\, and the hazards of drugs among other things. The Russells Point Police Department will also be adding gun safety\, boating\, water\, and park safety. Ohio Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Officers will be teaching proper fishing techniques. Each participant will leave with a new fishing pole.
