DESCRIPTION:Ride Through the Valley\n\nJoin the Posse...\n\nWe believe it is important that every child who wishes to experience summer camp is able to. Even though Marmon Valley Ministries seeks to keep camp sessions affordable\, we realize that for various reasons sometimes folks simply cannot afford camp. For that reason we are committed to providing scholarships to any family that cannot pay the full price of camp tuiton. In this way a family's lack of funds will not hinder anyone from hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ\, which is the central message and purpose of all of our camps. That's where you come in. For us to offer a camp scholarship to any family who needs financial assistance\, we need help. That's why we are asking you to ride with us. This special one hour trail ride is an opportunity for you to partner with us to raise the funds necessary to keep providing camp scholarships.\n\nRide Through the Valley...How It Works\n\nFinding sponsors is a simple process. Just deliver or mail a Sponsorship Letter to your friends\, relatives\, church\, or other organizatons. Then follow-up with a phone call or email to answer any questions and to ask if they will sponsor you on the ride. If they have questions about the event you can't answer\, they can contact Marmon Valley by phone or email. Record all contributions on your Sponsorship Ledger. Your sponsors send their tax-deductible donation directly to Marmon Valley Ministries\, so you don't have to do any collecting! You may wish to contact friends and family members to sponsor you in the Ride Through the Valley or you may contribute the full amount. Participants are eligible for prizes if they surpass the $50 minimum sponsorship level.\n\nWin a Week of Camp!\n\nYou can ride as an individual or as part of a team. To organize a team\, simply pick a name for your team and ask your friends and family to ride as a member of your team. When they sign up online\, they will be able to join your team. In fact\, we have a great prize for the team that raises the most in sponsorships\, so start rounding up your friends. The individual rider who raises the most in sponsorships will win a free week of summer camp for the following year! (Must raise at least $600 to be eligible.)
