DESCRIPTION:The Alicia Titus Memorial 5K & 1 Mile Walk/Run For Peace\nWhen: Saturday\, September 8\, 2018 @ 9:00 a.m.\n\nWhere: Urbana University\, 579 College Way Urbana\, Ohio 43078 (located on the south end of Urbana off High Street and College Way)\n\nCourse: Starts at the Urbana University Student Center\, proceeds on campus to College Way past historic Browne Hall\, turns north onto High Street\, heads east on Miami Street through the Monument Square\, south on Main Street to Broadway\, south on High Street to Freedom Grove around the newly resurrected Memorial for 9/11 victims\, then north on High Street to the east entrance of Urbana University and finishes at the Student Center.\n\nParking: All Parking Lots on campus.\n\nRegistration: \n\n5 K Walk/Run: Registration through Sept 5th is $25 (Register by August 25\, 2018 to receive a t-shirt)\; Urbana University Students receive $10 discount if registered prior to August 25\, 2018\; Registration after Sept 5th and including race day is $30 (T-shirt not guaranteed)\n\n1 Mile Walk/Run: Registration through Sept 5th is $15 (Register by August 25\, 2018 to receive a t-shirt)\; Registration after Sept 5th and including race day is $20 (T-shirt not guaranteed) * 5yrs & under are free for the 1 Mile Walk/Run but don't include a t-shirt\n\nProceeds: Proceeds go to the Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund and Scholarship Fund\n\nReturn form with entry fee (payable to The Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund) to Urbana University\, c/o Tammy Leiker\, 579 College Way\, Urbana\, OH 43078 www.urbana.edu\n\nFeatures: Live music\, post-race refreshments\, water stops\, awards\, door prizes\, raffle\, face painting and other children's activities!\n\nAwards: Overall male and female awards for 5K and Wheelchairs\; top three in each age category for 5K participants to be presented after the race at the Student Center. She was a flight attendant on United Airlines Flight 175 that crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.\n\nThe Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund was established at Urbana University in August 2002\, by the Titus family and church friends\, all of whom have close affiliations with the University.
