DESCRIPTION:The Holland Theatre Presents: The Hunchback of Notre Dame\nFrom the Oscar-winning team of Alan Menken (Aladdin\, The Little Mermaid) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked\, Pippin) comes the stage adaptation of Disney's Oscar-nominated retelling of Victor Hugo's story of love\, acceptance\, and what it means to be a hero. Hunchback features music by Menken\, lyrics by Schwartz\, and a book by Peter Parnell.\n\nA stage adaptation of the 1996 animated film first premiered in Germany in 1999\, with a new English-language production premiering at San Diego's La Jolla Playhouse in 2014 followed by a run at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse the following year.\n\nWindmill Productions will present this fantastic production\, complete with a pit-orchestra and community choir.  As always\, youth tickets are available for just $5.00 thanks to support from LoCo Art and The Schumacher Group.
