You may have called it a bank barn or Grandpa's big barn. Learn how these barns were constructed, and view preservation initiatives to save these majestic barns for future generations!
Our featured presenter, Rudy Christian, is a founding member of the Timber Framer’s Guild and past president of Friends of Ohio Barns. Rudy’s company, Christian & Son, Inc., was in charge of the reconstruction of the historic “Big Barn” at Malabar Farm State Park near Mansfield and relocation of the 19th Century Crawford Horse Barn in Newark, OH. Featured on an episode of the PBS show Woodright’s Shop, Rudy participated in the recreation and raising of an 18th century carriage house on the Mall in Washington D.C.
Join us for a presentation and powerpoint featuring Rudy’s numerous projects, sure to entertain, educate and inspire.
