In this workshop at Homegrown Yoga Downtown, explore how yoga can support emotional healing. Yoga encourages us to look inward and focus on the connection between the phusical and emotional self. Join Karey, Licensed Independent Social Worker, for a guided practice to aid in the release of emotions commonly stored in the body. Through discussion, breath-work, body awareness techniques and gentle body postures explore the relationship between the body and stored emotions. The skills acquired in this workshop can easily be taken off the mat into your everyday life to help find support and stability in the body. Cost is $40.
