Mad River Theatre Works is excited to present a special performance of its celebrated original play with music, "Everybody's Hero: The Jackie Robinson Story. This production depicts the life and times of legendary baseball Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson and the racial prejudices he came up amidst. In the telling of his life's story, audiences gain valuable insights into the ways that Robinson was a progressive member of the Civil Rights Movement, and, in the words of Branch Rickey, "How he mustered the guts not to fight back."
