Mental Illness Awareness Walk
The Mental Illness Awareness Walk is sponsored by Recovery Zone and NAMI L/C.
It is our largest fundraiser of the year and this is our 15th annual event.
The walk is held to promote awareness about Mental Health, Mental Illness and Recovery.
Stigma is the biggest drawback in people seeking help for Mental Illness....we want to break the stigma so that more people will seek help, find recovery and have a more meaningful life.
