Ring of Fire
Flares around the 5800 acre lake create a glow to make it appear as if it were on fire. This event began at Indian Lake in 1961. The Seneca tribe of New York, lit fires on the shores of the lake to celebrate a bountiful harvest. Flares on sale at different businesses around the lake 3 weeks prior.
