Introduction to OSHA Record Keeping

Andrea King graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health, specializing in Public Health and Environmental Protection. She was an intern with the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in the summer of 1994 in the Division of Safety and Hygiene. After graduation she worked at Navistar International Columbus Plastics Operation for two years in an environmental health and safety capacity. She then moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, and worked as a contractor with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and trained over 3500 employees in Hazard Communications, Environmental Awareness, Department of Transportation Regulations, and Hazardous Waste Management. In Atlanta, Georgia, she performed Phase I & II Environmental Assessments with a local consulting firm. After returning to Ohio, Andrea accepted a position with the Clark County Combined Health District where for five years she was a Public Health Sanitarian then moving on to the Ohio Department of Health in Lead Poisoning Prevention and Quality departments. She was hired in 2006 by the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and instructs OSHA 10 & 30 Construction Hour courses and works in the Dayton Service Office as Industrial Safety Consultant Specialist.
