Innovative musicians and dancers with quirky traditional souls, Oakland, California-based Evie Ladin and Keith Terry throw down original folk songs and interpretations of old songs with the thrill of percussive dance.
Ladin sings and plays infectious claw-hammer banjo, while Terry is a master percussionist. It's Appalachian string band music pared to the absolute minimum of accompaniment, but packed with an orchestra's worth of rhythm, according to Music City Roots, Nashville's acclaimed roots and Americana variety show.
Evie & Keith perform for all ages, and are skilled educators, and this multi-day program will feature outreach to local schools here in Logan County. A great time to support an internationally touring group and local youth at the same time!
