2017 West Liberty Annual Fire Sales (Garage Sale Day) is Saturday, May 20th
The "Fire Sales" refer to the town fire disaster of 1880. The fire started in a barn and spread through town destroying many businesses and several homes. It was the worst in village history, and the town rallied to support the residents and business owners who lost nearly everything in the fire.
The West Liberty Business Association provides village maps with notable locations and available restrooms. Sales start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.
